To Run a Car on Water – Is it Fact Or Fiction
March 9th, 2010James Ross asked:
With the fuel crisis biting into our pockets the need to find alternative sources of fuel has become greater and greater. We are already looking to gas sources in remote corners of the world when we could already be sitting on the most plentiful source of fuel: water. So you may ask can we really run a car on water? Is this science fiction or fact and is it even possible you may be wondering? You can stop wondering if it really is true, because the possibility that cars can run on water has been documented for the past 90 or so years and now more and more evidence of this technology being true is coming to our attention with real examples of car running on water and gas. These are also known as hybrid cars.
These cars that run on dual sources of power or hybrid cars are very popular right now and you will see many websites dedicated to them. Hybrid cars are so called since they have different types of technologies to make them run. Two of which being gas and water. Lately these have become more and more popular mostly due to the spiraling cost of oil and hence gas.
For a car to run on water it first of all needs to have an electric source which is easily attainable from the battery in your car. This alone makes the possibility of making your car on water viable, and involves a process which splits water to produce Oxyhydrogen which enables the production of the the much needed energy to power your car. Remember that you will still be using some gas, but considerably less than you did before.
If you wanted to undertake this process yourself, you will need the components needed to carry it out. These components are not difficult to find or buy and you could, in fact, make them yourself though to buy they are fairly inexpensive. The great incentive for doing it yourself is that you will save money from the amount of gas you will not have to pay since you will run your car on water.
Another great incentive is that water powered cars let off gases that do not damage the ozone layer. This helps the environment a great deal as less green house gases are released in the atmosphere. This way not only you will save yourself money on gas but you will quite possibly save the future of our planet.
