A newer version of our hydrogen video can be found at www.youtube.com Ready for a big bang? Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table and the most abundant element in the universe. www.periodicvideos.com … hydrogen … periodicvideos … Match on a stick to hydrogen. Big bang coming. Ready? yep, here we go… Hydrogen it the lightest element. And it’s also a very abundant element. You find it throughout the universe. It’s in stars, in the space between stars, and of course on …

A little bit of Nitrogen he said, yeah right. It’s like 80%

Sounds very good in theory, but if you think about it, for the car to have enough fuel there would need to be alot of water, and storing the water would add weight to the car making it less efficient. Not to mention that it might not be economically sound.

two hydrogen + one oxygen= H2 O, or Dihydrogen Monoxide.

    Yeah or Dihrdrogen Monoxide.

If you placed hydrogen in an environment of pure nitrogen and put a match to it like these guys did, would it ignite and form ammonia, or does it require more energy?

Well the hydrogen might explode from the car running and the engine if something goes terribly wrong.

After it power it will become water right? IMO I think it is better to use hydrogen as a battery. Perharps one in a car. The car would store all the water from the reaction, and by night it would do electrolysis when you plug it into your socket and spilt the hydrogen atoms again ^_^ However, is that actually possible?

Would it not be shorter to call it water? lol.

So Water can be seen as either Hydrogen oxide or Oxygen hydride? Lol.

Hydrogen Atom + 2 Oxygen atoms or an Oxygen molecule = H2O ^^

    Yeah that’s right.
    ‘Cause Oxygen is O2
    And Hydrogen is H2
    Water is H2O which is Hydrogen (H2) + 1/2 Oxygen (O2 / 2 = O) = H2O

can someone make a video of breathing in hydrogen? yes it is flammable, but what are the chances of having a flame next to you in a controlled experiment?

    H2 + 1/2O2 = H20

Sorry not crack the hydrogen from the water but crack the hydrogen from the oxygen

Hydrogen is the most common element in the universe. Here on earth it is refined from water by running a huge electrical current through it to crack the hydrogen atoms from the water.

not usually, no. every day, we all ingest a small amount of D2O, but in larger quantities it can be dangerous. In general, however, your body easily handles the extra neutron. just don’t switch your diet over to pure D2O just yet.
