Run Your Car on Water – Scam Or Legit? How to Tell the Difference

Bruce Brennan asked:

With gas prices creeping up day by day, common sense takes over for most and thousands are now looking for ways to reduce their fuel costs. From carpooling to changing driving habits, there are a lot of little things you can do here and there to save a little gas and hope the pennies you’re saving add up. There are also some gas mileage devices on the market, and even some do-it-yourself solutions, that can help save you money on gas.

The most popular of the DIY gas mileage devices right now seems to be HHO generators which allow your car to run on water. Since it sounds a little strange, many people are dispelling valid designs as nothing more than a run your car on water scam.

While it’s true that some information or guides you’ll run across may be some type of scam, there are some easy ways to differentiate between a real product and a run your car on water scam. So here are some questions to ask yourself when looking at a product to decide if it can help you or not.

Most real products will not dispel pure hydrogen cars, and they will not try to confuse you by claiming that certain hydrogen cars are running on water. Cars that run purely on hydrogen are quite a bit different and current;y are very expensive to produce commercially. This is exactly why the larger auto makers have not yet released pure hydrogen cars. These cars don’t run on water at all, they run on pure hydrogen which is in a compressed liquid form. It may be a run your car on water scam if the product that pure hydrogen is dangerous, that is just scare tactic and most products are clearly meant to provide a great alternative to pure hydrogen until it is commercially available.

If you find any product that states you can run your car completely on water with no gasoline, it is definitely a run you car on water scam. While there are some systems being developed to run a car 100% on water, nobody has successfully made a practical 100% water engine yet. There are some kits that provide the theoretical plans and designs with their package, but they will be advertised as prototypes or experimental designs if it is not a run your car on water scam.

Additionally, anything that says you can add water right into your gas tank is also a run your can on water scam. Definitely stay away from any product claiming this.
